Frequently Asked Questions
How does the pizza ship?
Our pizza ships frozen via UPS and FedEx. We pack the pizza in an insulated cooler with dry ice to ensure it stays frozen in transit.
How much does shipping cost?
We don't charge additional shipping fees, so at checkout you'll see free shipping for ground shipping. If you need your pizza extra fast, delivered on a weekend, or live in an area that we cannot ship to within 2 days ground, you may see additional shipping charges.
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
We ship Monday through Thursday for delivery Tuesday through Friday. Once shipped, all orders are expected to arrive within 1-2 days. At checkout you'll be given an estimated delivery date. Once your orders ships, you'll receive a confirmation email with a tracking link. If ordering for an event, it is always highly recommended to place your order early so that it is scheduled to arrive two days or more before your event. While the vast majority of orders do arrive on time, delays due to weather and other conditions are possible. Please note that the delivery date you see at checkout is only an estimate, and delays can occur.
While we are unable to guarantee time of delivery, you'll receive a tracking number when your order has shipped, allowing you to verify the status of your shipment.
Can I place an order for delivery further into the future?
Yes, you can place an order for days, weeks, or even months into the future for special events, corporate gifts, and other occasions. To do so, please email us at ship.giordanos.com and someone will contact you to assist.
How many people do the pizzas serve?
Our regular pizzas are 10 inches wide and serve 2-3 people. We also offer a 6-inch single-serve pizza variety pack.
What happens if there's a problem with my order?
If you have an issue with your order, please email us a photo of the product at ship@giordanos.com. We will assist as possible under our Refund Policy.
There was no dry ice in my cooler when the pizza arrived. What happened?
This is normal, so don't be alarmed if there is little or no dry ice left in your cooler. The dry ice evaporates during transit, so even if it's completely gone by the time your cooler arrives, your pizza should still be frozen or cold to the touch (40 degrees or less).
How should I handle any dry ice remaining in the cooler?
Please don't touch the dry ice directly, as it's extremely cold and can cause burns. We recommend setting the dry ice outside (but out of reach of children and pets) until it evaporates. Then, simply throw away the empty dry ice bag.
My pizza wasn't completely frozen when it arrived. Is it okay to eat?
As long as the pizza is cold to the touch (40 degrees), it is safe to eat. Feel free to either cook it immediately or place in your freezer.
